the take away at the time, while everyone was meming no deals was in fact there were deals except for drug and child traffickers, which happen to use the same logistical means and routes, hence expansion of Gitmo and military could decided if fed prosecution was fine or not, hence sedition vs treason, there were lesser thans discussed as well but imma not military or legal so I don't think I fully understood the ramifications but I got the gist
