I would suggest to the preceding responder and like thinkers, that keeping an open mind is to prevent ones' self from inadvertently falling to cognitive dissonance. This is imperative to your own good, and those who would follow you.
That is not to say that I agree with all that post, but there very well could be a good measure of truth to at least some of it, that should not be immediately dismissed without due consideration.
Much like FE, Aliens, etc etc etc . . .
Whoever thinks they know it all, and have it all figured out, will inevitably be proven wrong.
Realize that all this are possible. Whether you are capable of perceiving them or not remains to be seen.
Just because you lack the indoctrination/education/experience to comprehend any given possibility, does not mean that it is fictitious in reality such as it really is, and NOT how you perceive it to be.
My main goal with this post wan't necessarily support or pooh-pooh this particular post, but rather point out that, especially here of all places, cognitive dissonance should not exist.
If you don't agree with something, that's fine. Point it to it's own dedicated thread out side of General Research, and discuss the possibility.
Don't waste General Research bread by advertising your mind/thought process is to small to imagine something that you have not predetermined to be true, which is EXACTLY what you are doing when you do this.
This is among the first means of identifying a newbie. They have not been told and/or have not figured out that everything above is applicable to everyone that is here.
If you don't believe that, consider this:
An oldfag can impersonate a newfag by acting that way and wasting bread.
A newfag can impersonate an oldfag by NOT acting that way, and NOT wasting bread.
Both cases exist and are readily visible in EVERY THREAD if a man is astute enough to see with both eyes.
