SS checks, Medicare, Medicaid and other gubment services continue onward. Money into the Treasury is enough to service the debt and fulfill essential functions of gubment. Non essential departments and employees will get a unplanned vacation with full backpay. If the fucking thing gets shut down? Life goes on.
