The people didn't want another establishment R. R turnout was dismal and Davis didn't get the MAGA votes who previously voted for the MAGA candidate in the primary. He barely beat this candidate in the primary.
If he had supported POTUS and sought his endorsement instead of Ron's, he would have won in a landslide.
This isn't a victory for D's in FL, it's a victory for POTUS.
