If that was the case the film exposure settings on camera would be different at every point from directly under the sun all the way to the shadow. Also inverse square law falls apart when you get closer to the sun aka mountains would be hotter than the surface. Fail.
the moon is the same exposure setting at night as a sunny day exposure is meaning the moon is oddly tuned to the exact perfect output setting as the earth, or it recieves the same light energy as the surface:
