No a biblefag here…and in fact, it's been 10 years since I've set foot in a church. But while visiting my 90 year old mom this weekend, out of the blue she started talking about the book of John, and in particular the passage where the Disciple Thomas was doubting the resurrection (the origin of the term "Doubting Thomas").

My mind immediately went to Q and the proofs. I understand the need for Q proofs and their importance in the overall plan, but I personally don't need them, and haven't since the beginning. The sense of truth is so strong, they simply don't excite me.

Jesus Appears to Thomas

John 20:27 Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.”

John 20:28 Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!”

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
