Just my own observation in the wake of a lot of observing:
I'm going to say that there are screening locations in a few places in the USA and that some are going into the Federal system to be held for trial, while the idiots who drew the short straw are heading to the Florida Keys for drop off to wait for their ride to Gitmo as Enemy Combatants.

The weekend was insane. Today it looks like Houston and New Orleans may have gotten the green visitation. So much epectronic surveilance up all over the place I do believe they are down to chasing down stragglers.
I saw what seemed to be Blackhawks providing air support for "meetings" on the ground in several commie State large and capital cities. Following day saw Blackhawks from Ft Campbell land at several municipal airports, I'm assuming as security to make sure no one interrupted the "meetings on the tarmac." Lots of unusual flights over the bays of the port cities too. Gitmo has been well traveled, and USCG is running their asses off.

I think it could be kept pretty quiet for several days if there were no uniforms making public contact when people were brought into custody, just a "walk this way" to make new friends.
It's how I would do it …and it's only Tuesday. The way I believe to understand it, the stragglers have until Friday to start jumping off tall locations etc…
