DeSantis’s Own Spokesman’s Daughter Just Endorsed Donald Trump, While Ron Was Launching His Campaign.KEK

The Washington, D.C. Young Republicans organization endorsed President Donald J. Trump on Wednesday, as Governor Ron DeSantis was kicking off his glitch-riddled campaign launch on Twitter. Kingsley Cortes, thedaughter of DeSantis PAC spokesman Steve Cortes,is on the board which unanimously endorsed the 45th President.

Cortes defected to team DeSantis earlier in May, resulting in a war of words with MAGA stalwarts such as Steve Bannon, who accused Cortes of taking “thirty pieces of silver,” an allusion to Judas Iscariot.

The DCYR’s released the following statement Tuesday:

When President Donald J. Trump was elected in 2016, the Establishment was brought to its knees and the Deep State curtain was ripped down the seam. Our enemies were exposed, and like rats and snakes, they scurried and slithered for cover. Soon after, the United States entered a “Pax Americana” until the election was “fortified” in 2020 and the traitors were reinstalled.

Since then, our country, our people, and the world have suffered. The power and influence of the United States abroad has waned. Europe is in turmoil, endless wars are again a feature of our foreign policy, and our allies and adversaries no longer respect us. At home, the American people are being crushed under the weight of open borders, replacement immigration, record-setting crime, and inflation. The elites maintain their status, the bureaucrats maintain their control, and the working class struggles to stay afloat.

Now, more than ever, we need a champion. We need a leader that knows how to fight and who to fight. We need a Caesar with the experience to navigate the battlefield and the instinct and vigor to charge forward like a young crusader. We need a President that puts America First. We need Donald J. Trump in 2024.

President Donald J. Trump once promised that “We will no longer surrender this country or its people to the false song of globalism.” It’s time to finish the job. It’s time to Make America Great Again!

Therefore, the Washington D.C. Young Republicans club gives its Complete and Total endorsement for President of the United States to Donald John Trump.

The DC Young Republican backing follows the endorsement from the largest young Republican club in the country: the New York Young Republican Club. The DCYRs were recently overtaken by America First enjoyers, rather than the beltway Republican establishment. The New York Young Republican Club hosts its annual gala in December.

Ron DeSantis' white rain boots are mocked in meme likening him to flattened Wicked Witch of the East after 2024 campaign launch on Twitter failed - with other jokers likening fiasco to SpaceX blast

Ron DeSantis' famous white rain boots have once again been ridiculed after his disastrous 2024 campaign launch, which saw a Twitter live chat fail in spectacular style.

A meme shared online showed the white boots - worn by DeSantis to inspect hurricane damage last year - poking out from under Dorothy's house in the Wizard of Oz, while Mickey Mouse pointed at them in apparent mirth.

In the iconic 1939 movie, the wicked witch of the east is flattened after Dorothy's home lands in the mythical land.

A snarky 2023 update suggested Disney may have enjoyed DeSantis' already-infamous campaign launch, after he clashed with the entertainment giant for opposing his so-called Don't Say Gay bill.

The launch was due to take place on Wednesday at 6pm Eastern Time.

Yet… The event was initially delayed by several minutes, and when it began the audio frequently cut out.

Moderator David Sacks said so many people were trying to listen that it was 'melting the internet'.

By 6:30pm, the audio was down and DeSantis was yet to utter a word. They began again around 10 minutes later, with Sacks congratulating DeSantis for 'breaking the internet' and Musk saying it was refreshing not to have 'canned speeches and teleprompters - it's real.'

The internet erupted in mockery.

'Who here thinks #DeSantis would have been better off launching on Disney streaming? #Fail,' tweeted one, referencing DeSantis's bruising battle with the entertainment company.

'Biggest fail in campaign launches in history,' tweeted another.

'Nice one DeSantis. Brought to you by Elon L Musk.'

One person tweeted a meme of an engineer staring at a server, captioned: 'Elon right now.'

Another shared a picture of one of Elon Musk's SpaceX rockets exploding - playing with the title of the event: 'Presidential Launch'.

He captioned the picture: 'Ron DeSantis learning what happens when you launch things with Elon Musk'.

Others commented on how astonishing it was that the demand was not predicted, and that additional server bandwidth was not secured.

'It is having issues,' said one.

'DeSantis 2024: Technical issues,' joked another.

Another speculated: 'Welp maybe Elon was planning to ruin the Desantis rollout'.

Musk and Sacks said that the problem was server bandwidth, and that they resolved it by hosting the event from Sacks' account rather than Musk's.

Sacks, a billionaire venture capitalist and DeSantis supporter, has 665,000 followers: Musk has 140 million.

'My account was breaking the system,' Musk said.

DeSantis laughed off the chaos, as Musk said it was proof that their encounter was live and real.

The Florida governor then went on Fox News and joked about the fiasco.

'It did break the Twitter space,' he told host Trey Gowdy.

DeSantis's team said $1 million was raised in one hour, thanks to the Twitter spectacle.

But the ridicule was relentless, ensuring that DeSantis's much-heralded launch will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.

One asked whether Musk was operating on an AOL dial-up connection.

Tara Golshan, a senior editor at Vanity Fair's Hive, said: 'Shall we all just go with the video he put out and call it a day?'

One said it was 'a gift to mainstream media', while Ben Collins, senior reporter at NBC, said the idea that it was the biggest online gathering ever was 'ludicrous'.

Brian Stelter, a media analyst formerly of CNN, agreed, saying: 'Musk and Sacks are bragging about having half a million listeners – "probably the biggest room that's ever been assembled online" – when in fact YouTube and other companies have been live-streaming video to millions simultaneously for years.'

Igor Bobic, senior reporter with Huffington Post, jokingly referenced space flight jargon.

'Looks like Twitter Spaces /DeSantis announce has experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly,' he said.

And Luke Ball, a Trump-supporting conservative commentator, tweeted: 'Great start…'
