I wanted to point out 1 thing that explains some of what she claims.

>In a video on TikTok, Ms Santiago said 'There was no concept of time whatsoever, just the feeling of complete peace.'

>I wasn't worried about leaving behind my body, my life, my son or my family and friends- none of that felt important,' she said.

As your begin to die you essentially dissociate (used to be called schizophrenia) to protect your sanity during the death process. This is done in part by going in to a "fight or flight' state, which shuts down the Thalamus (where the concept of time and mammalian/family relavency is processed), and your conciousness is then taken over by the amygdala. The amygdala's sole responsibility is to survive. The only things that are important to it's survival is eat, shit, fuck, and sleep. concepts like family, friends, time, and happiness, are non existant. That is literally all your body considers relavent once you go in to the fight or flight state and the amygdala takes over. This is mostly prevalent in people with PTSD who are stuck in the fight or flight state after a situation so traumatic they cannot processes what is happening and dissociate from themselves. The amygdala is also fully capable of using the cortex to it's fullest extent, though it only considers the 4 aforementioned traits for survival.
