the sig p320 is a special gun. it is fully modular so the serial number isn't on the frame, it's on the firing mechanism only.
while that may be part of the problem is there is truth to the misfires, BUT disassembling the gun and packing it creatively might give you a chance to make it past security. Not recommending anyone do that, but just saying.
