The theory is that perhaps they didn't want to take proper oaths of office because they might get prosecuted for "impersonating a federal official" but not "treason".

Hope anons will listen to this. Substantial parts of our government are illegitimate. Not only fraudulent elections but no oaths of office. FOIA requests answered by 3rd-party vendors.
