I am not going crazy. I remember this story. I remember the photos of this limo in a copse of trees not a convenience store! Tell me someone has counter narrative originals from when this was fresh.
This limo had the 2 guys that owned the company that sold comped circuit boards to the DOD riding in it.
First hand accounts said they heard an explosion before the crash happened. Dude went into a T intersection at 45 MPH, no braking, but somehow ended up in the trees left of the stop sign but facing right. Witnesses also reported a strong smell of chlorine at the scene (airbags smell like ammonia in my experience).
The two brothers claimed the circuit boards were all manufactured by NATO countries but instead they were from China (don’t remember if it was all of them or just some) and every single one had an extra wafer on them that completely compromised them. China literally had a back door to potentially every B2, submarine, ICBM, M1A1, F18, NVGs, shoulder fired missiles, carriers and anything else with a green board in it.
