Kamoola gets swept out of the way (got to be issues in her closet or other things the powers that be can do to keep her from moving uptown) before she can name a VP and get it approved.
McCarthy is now next in line - unless he gets removed from being Speaker… (that rotten Debt Ceiling bill come back to bite him)
Then the nod goes to the President pro tempore of the Senate, Patty Murray.
