Kapustin became a subject of an Schengen Area-wide entry ban since spring of 2019.
After moving to Ukraine, he founded the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) in 2022 and is the group's leader.
According to Der Spiegel, the Kapustin family are Russian Jews.
He was a supporter of the Euromaidan, and since 2018, Kapustin has lived in Ukraine. Kapustin worked with the Azov Battalion, a right-wing paramilitary group, in Ukraine until its fight club, the Reconquista Club shut down in 2019.

The moral factor in the war is significant in relation to everyone else as three to one.
There is a striking difference in our self-perception and the perception of us by Western experts and politicians.
They are skeptics.
They don't see us as independent.
Independence is closely related to the moral factor.
There is no independence - there are no moral and strong-willed qualities necessary for victory.
We ourselves know that on the battlefield we are torn and hang on anyone.
And they see that we are economically insolvent.
We believe in the Ukrainian sun, which has finally risen, and they see that we are 100% dependent on their supplies and funding.
We believe in a historic opportunity, but they see 12 million displaced citizens, a ruined economy, an inefficient, corrupt state, a lack of coherent strategic planning and a realistic assessment of factors.
But the real problem is not their skepticism.
The real problem is that we doubt ourselves.
Our biggest fear is that it won't work again.
Despite all the sacrifices and all the heroism.
That we will win the war, but we will lose the world.
Central question:

why can't a nation that is so tight on the battlefield (over and over again) reform the state and the economy? ..
We are fighting three terrible wars:

on the battlefield

against their own naivety (lack of experience of independent statehood),
-
against own weaknesses and shortcomings (corruption and unbelief).
In the first war, we are handsome.
On the other two - losers.
Slowly, very slowly, Ukraine is emerging from paternalism - the belief that SOMEONE will solve for us the problem of our unbelief and our weaknesses.
The news is that there is no SOMEONE.
The West will make all decisions depending on what results we can achieve in the second and third wars, the war against our own strategic failure.
We are focused on reaching the borders of 1991.
How to measure the degree of achievement in readiness to acquire real sovereignty (ideological, power, economic)?
The degree of willingness to overcome their weaknesses, disorganization, disbelief? ..
There are no adults.
We are adults.
No one will do anything for us, will not give us anything, will not plan the marshall, if we ourselves do not pull ourselves out of the swamp of unbelief.
All our strength and all our chances are in ourselves.
All responsibility is on us.
And we know what to do - what we do best:

self-organization,

mutual support
-
creative,
-
activity.
All good people should be familiar with each other and everyone should drag each other by the hair - up, out of the swamp.
Just to be adults - who will survive or die together.
And so we will win.

Justin Trudeau denies he is leaving his teaching position at a Vancouver private school to give speeches.
The eldest son of the late Pierre Elliott Trudeau says although he is leaving West Point Grey Academy, reports that he was planning to take up public speaking are wrong.
Trudeau says he remains committed to education. Newspaper The Montreal Gazette reported Wednesday that Trudeau will leave West Point Grey Academy for at least one year to give speeches. The Gazette quoted one teacher at the school as saying Trudeau, 29, has received "a whack" of public-speaking offers.
The Gazette's managing editor, Raymond Brassard said the newspaper would have a follow-up story on its front page Thursday.
