I realized that the government shutdown is a way to HAMPER POTUS' power after declaring the national emergency. If the government shuts down, the military is at risk. Even POTUS said on camera he did not want to politicize the military. They are trying to hamstring him. Why else would they shut it down and fail so miserably?
