A Florida woman and NRA Director posted a heartbreaking tribute to her daughter and granddaughter after it was confirmed that no one survived the wayward and unresponsive business plane that flew over the nation's capital Sunday afternoon.
The flight, which was prompted the Pentagon to scramble an interceptor fighter jet Sunday afternoon as the pilot had become unresponsive.
The private Cessna jet from Elizabethton, Tennessee came close to both the US Capitol building and the White House at around 3.30pm, Federal Aviation Administration officials say.
Barbara Rumpel, a businesswoman and member of the NRA Women's Leadership Form, posted to Facebook Sunday, confirming that her daughter and granddaughter died in the crash.
'My family is gone, my daughter and granddaughter,' Rumpel wrote in the comments of a post sharing her attendance at an NRA conference.

In a new scoop, Just The News founder John Solomon appeared on Human Events with Jack Posobiec to discuss revelations surrounding questionable conduct by US government representatives during the Capitol riots on Jan. 6, 2021, including that the Jan. 6 House committee allegedly doctored tapes that surfaced following that fateful day.
“Everything about January 6 was scripted,” Solomon declared, before adding that upon browsing the security footage, he noticed a glaring lack of sound in many of the scenes that he had previously both seen and heard.
He recounted asking a group of “experts” about the sound of the surveillance tapes, only to be met with the response that there was not any to start with.
Solomon then said, “But there was, I saw it in the January 6 hearings,” before making his explosive allegation:
“Well guess what? It was faked. The sound was dubbed in basically, the January 6 committee faked the tapes. They faked the American people by adding sound that wasn't on the tapes.”
This bombshell from Solomon came after his outlet was granted “unfettered access to the J6 tapes,” by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), according to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).
As The Hill noted, over 44,000 hours of footage from the event were released to Fox News host Tucker Carlson for the purposes of reporting earlier this year. Democrat politicians and members of the media alike reacted with fury at the time, insisting that such transparency would jeopardize the Capitol’s security.
Carlson was not able to continue that work after he was fired from Fox News, with no reason given.
Earlier in the interview, a video of the events discussed by Solomon showed a group of Congressmen and their security detail leaving the Capitol, seemingly not in a hurry. Nancy Pelosi can be seen casually strolling along with others in a hallway, along with her cameraman and daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, who was shooting the whole thing.
Solomon commented on the Pelosis’ conduct, saying they “were doing this Hollywood style,” and that they did not consider this to be a “crisis moment,” but rather a “political movie moment.” He additionally pointed out that Pelosi had at one time spoken about the “trauma” that was supposedly endured during that evacuation.
According to Solomon, then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was fired by Nancy Pelosi a few days after the Capitol riot, and just recently claimed on Solomon’s show that the Pelosi mother and daughter’s filming antics hampered his security detail.

he Tour de France organisers have drawn up a new COVID-19 protocol for this year's race to try to limit the risk of infection inside the peloton, with riders, team staff and officials set to wearing face masks at sign-on and in the team paddock, while riders will be banned from signing autographs.
The Reuters news agency first revealed the new COVID-19 protocol, while similar, more stringent rules were introduced for stage 1 of the Criterium du Dauphine race on Sunday.
Cyclingnews, like other media and officials, were informed that face masks were obligatory at the stage start and finish of the race. Tour de France organiser ASO told Cyclingnews that they have to still to release any information regarding a Tour de France COVID-19 protocol but all ASO staff wore face masks at the Criterium du Dauphine.
Races and teams are obliged to follow the limited UCI COVID-19 protocol that was drawn up in January when COVID-19 cases were falling.
