Christian man arrested for quoting Bible verse at pride event

He was charged with "Disorderly Conduct Engage in Fighting."

Pennsylvania police arrested a Christian man over the weekend after he began quoting a Bible verse during a pride event in the town of Reading.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning outside the town's city hall, according to the Lancaster Patriot. Revelers had gathered to participate in the city's first "Pride March and Rally."

Video footage shows Damon Atkins standing on the sidewalk across from the event speaking to a police officer, whom the Patriot identified as Police Sergeant Bradley T. McClure. McClure warns Atkins against disrupting the event.

Atkins insists in the video that he is on public property, which McClure admits, before telling Atkins to "let them have their day," in reference to the pride event attendees. Atkins countered that he was respecting them and ultimately began reciting a Bible verse, but only got so far as to say "God is not-" before the officer arrested him. Atkins later said he intended to quote from 1 Corinthians 14:33.

"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints," the verse reads.

Former Teammate of Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas Speaks Out and Shares “Disturbing” New Details – Riley Gaines Responds (VIDEO)

A former teammate of William “Lia” Thomas has come forward and has shared “disturbing” new details regarding how her teammates were abused.

As Gateway Pundit readers know, Thomas, a man pretending he’s a woman, was given a spot on the University of Pennsylvania women’s swimming team. He became a household name and robbed countless women of their rightful glory. The school’s leadership rallied behind Thomas the whole way and waved aside concerns from actual female swimmers.

They even nominated him for NCAA “Woman of the Year.”

Paula Scanlon decided to shed her anonymity last week and speak exclusively to Matt Walsh. She told him the propaganda campaign Penn administrators waged was organized and vicious.

Russia reveals battle casualties

Defense Minister Shoigu has spoken about Russian and Ukrainian losses in a 3-day clash

Ukrainian forces lost over 3,700 men and more than 50 tanks in a futile attempt to break through on several fronts, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Tuesday. He also revealed Russian casualties during the three days of heavy fighting.

“Over a three-day period, the Ukrainian regime began the long-promised offensive on multiple sections of the front, concentrating a large amount of men and materiel for that purpose,” Shoigu said in a video address.

The losses of Ukraine’s armed forces since June 4 include 3,715 personnel, 52 tanks, 207 armored vehicles, 134 cars, five airplanes, two helicopters, 48 field artillery pieces and 53 drones, Shoigu said in a video message.

“Unfortunately, this was not without casualties of our own,” the defense minister added. While defeating the adversary’s attempt to advance, the Russian military suffered 71 dead, 210 wounded, and the destruction of 15 tanks, nine armored vehicles, two cars and nine artillery pieces, according to Shoigu.

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday posted the first episode of his Twitter show, during which he focused on the recent destruction of the Nova Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine that has flooded the Dnieper River and placed a major nuclear power plant at risk of meltdown.

The dam was part of the water supply system to the Crimean peninsula. The dam breached overnight, sending a torrent of floodwaters pouring downstream and draining the cooling reservoir for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Carlson, pointing to media suggestions that Russia was responsible for the destruction of the dam, contended that it made little sense for Russian President Vladimir Putin to order an attack on infrastructure that provides critical supply to territory Russia controls.

"This morning it looks like somebody blew up the Kahkovka dam in southern Ukraine," he said. "So, if this was intentional, it was not a military tactic. It was an act of terrorism. The question is who did it."

Trump slams his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany: 'RINOS & Globalists can have her'

Trump's post included a new nickname for McEnany.

Former President Donald Trump slammed his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany for providing what he called the "wrong poll numbers" while on Fox News.

"Kayleigh 'Milktoast' McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on FoxNews. I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up. While 25 is great, it’s not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll," Trump wrote Tuesday evening on Truth Social. "The RINOS & Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!"

In the post, he included a new nickname for McEnany while using DeSanctimonious to refer to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, his top challenger in the Republican presidential primary. The term "RINO" is a pejorative acronym meaning "Republican in name only."

Before Trump's post, McEnany said Tuesday on Fox News' "Jesse Watters Primetime" that Trump's lead over DeSantis had fallen from 34 points to 25 points in Iowa, a key primary state, since the governor entered the race last week.

It is unclear which poll Trump or McEnany are referencing. An Emerson College poll taken from May 19-22, two days before DeSantis announced his candidacy, shows Trump with a 42-point lead over DeSantis in Iowa.
