There are rumors in Hollywood that:
Disneys currently in trouble. Their Hulu deal with comcast has a clause where Disney must buy out Comcast’s share of Hulu at Comcast’s request, valued at least 4 billion, and the rumor is that comcast is wanting out of HULU.
The problem is that Disney’s liquid cash is rumored to be at 200 million right now, because they invested heavily in ftx when the bottom fell out, so they’d have to sell assets to meet the costs
So the rumors are currently that George Lucas himself is interested in buying Lucasfilm back
What’s funny is that the guys discussing these rumors even say, “ it’s so perfectly orchestrated, that it feels like part of a plan, but that can’t be possible” Kek
