If the calendar actually started on the new moon in March, (the beginning of Spring, which is when the ancient world started the new year) Then March 21 would have been Jan 1 according to the old world calendar. Each new month starts with a new moon. May 19 was a new moon and would be March 1. Count forward from the new moon and June 9 (Friday) would be 3/22.

The beauty of this is it plants a seed of doubt. For even a nanosecond their brains accepted the possibility. The longer they spend looking at the comparison the more they move towards accepting the possibility it could be true.

It's a brilliant way to get people used to the idea that their idols could all be trans.
