Biden continues making things up: "When a person can be married in the morning and thrown out of a restaurant for being gay in the afternoon, something is still very wrong in America."

Software VP Fired For Using 'Assigned By God' As Preferred Pronoun Sues Employer

A software engineer fired for putting “Assigned By God” as the preferred pronoun on his employee profile has filed a civil rights lawsuit against his company.

Chard Scharf was fired by the software company Bitwarden, an online storage service for sensitive information. Scharf served as Vice President of Software Engineering at the Jacksonville, Florida, location.

The lawsuit alleges that Bitwarden violated Scharf’s Title VII rights against religious discrimination by allowing other employees to post preferred pronouns on their employee profiles, but prohibiting Scharf from using his preferred pronoun based on his religious beliefs.

“Had Chad set aside his religious beliefs and acquiesced to Bitwarden’s promotion of gender ideology, he would not have been fired,” Scharf’s attorney Jennifer Vasquez told The Epoch Times, “which means his religious beliefs were the cause of his termination.” Vasquez is with the Florida law firm Campbell, Trohn, Tamayo & Aranda.

Neither Bitwarden nor its attorney B. Tyler White of Jackson & Lewis, responded to multiple inquiries from The Epoch Times about Scharf’s lawsuit. The company has not yet filed a response to the federal complaint.

“Bitwarden violated Title VII when it placed Mr. Scharf into a disfavored class by promoting its gender ideology, when it failed to approve his reasonable request for accommodation, and when it terminated his employment,” the lawsuit states.

According to the lawsuit, Scharf was repeatedly pressured to add his preferred pronouns to his Slack employee profile under his company’s “inclusivity initiative.” Slack is a platform utilized for intra company communication.

When Scharf added “Assigned By God” to his employee profile page, he was told to remove it, his complaint alleges.

Scharf, a Catholic, told his company he would not participate in its request to choose preferred pronouns because it was part of a gender ideology that went against his religious beliefs.

He told Bitwarden executives that it was his belief that there are only two sexes and “that gender cannot be changed, chosen, or manipulated,” and that it was the company discriminating against him for failing to accommodate his beliefs.

Vasquez said correspondence shows that the company pushed the completion of the gender field on his employee profile and not Scharf.

According to the lawsuit, two employees in the company’s human resources department complained that they felt harassed by Scharf’s religious statements.

Scharf was also reprimanded for not using the preferred pronouns in notes based on an interview he conducted of a job application whose preferred pronouns were different from their biological gender. In the lawsuit, Scharf claims he avoided using any pronouns during the interview and that he only used the applicant’s biological pronouns in internal notes.

PATEL: The Biden Justice Department Tried To Stop Us From Getting Records On Government Censorship Efforts

Earlier this week, The Washington Post let the American people know whose side they’re on when it comes to free speech versus government-backed censorship; they’re on the side of the censors.

To summarize, the Post’s lengthy piece frames efforts by Republican lawmakers, conservatives and media organizations, like the Daily Caller News Foundation, to hold a well-heeled and growing industry dedicated to fighting so-called mis- and disinformation accountable as “harassment.” We’re not making this up.

Of course, after everything we’ve learned from the Twitter Files and other investigative reporting into how these groups actually operate, it’s clear that fighting disinformation is almost always a euphemism for censoring facts and opinions they don’t like, especially from conservatives.

It’s no coincidence that conservatives are overwhelmingly the ones being deplatformed, shadowbanned, fact-checked and censored on social media and Google. It’s no coincidence that conservative news outlets, not corporate or liberal ones, always make it onto the secret blacklists put together by pro-censorship groups and sent to ad agencies to deprive those sites of revenue.

The DCNF recently revealed a major group dedicated to demonetizing conservative sites was actually funded by the Biden State Department. In fact, many similar organizations that promote censorship also get giant checks from the feds. This should alarm every American regardless of party affiliation or ideology.

But WaPo wants you to ignore all that and believe it’s the government-funded censors who are the real victims, not the people they’re trying to silence. Sadly, the Biden Justice Department seems to agree.

Right after WaPo dropped its “censors are the real victims” piece, journalist Lee Fang published an email showing the Biden DOJ intervening to impede DCNF records requests regarding a little-known Department of Homeland Security panel advising the agency on combating mis- and disinformation.

Given everything we’ve learned over the years — especially from the Twitter Files — about federal government efforts to censor and silence opinions they don’t like, we wanted to see what this secretive panel was up to. It is, after all, our duty to inform the public about threats to their fundamental rights, especially freedom of speech.

A key member of this panel was Kate Starbird of the University of Washington, who founded the Center for an Informed Public. Not only does she sit on this committee, but she’s also raking in government research grants. Starbird actually featured prominently in WaPo’s piece defending the pro-censorship industry, but the paper conveniently left out Starbird’s role in advising DHS’s secretive little committee. I wonder why?

Here's today's attack - DS shills

Ben Affleck, Matt Damon: We Didn’t Give Trump Campaign Permission to Use Scene from ‘Air’

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company has issued a statement saying it didn’t give the Trump campaign permission to use audio from the movie Air in a recent fundraising video that the campaign posted on Truth Social.

The Trump video excerpts Matt Damon’s climactic monologue in Air to mirror the former president’s own rise to political power and the establishment’s subsequent and ongoing efforts to destroy him.

“We hereby, expressly give notice that in the case of any use of material from Air by the Trump campaign where approval or consent is required, we do not grant such consent,” said the statement from Artists Equity, the company founded by Affleck and Damon that produced Air.

The Trump video features a montage of President Trump’s life and career set to Damon’s voice.

“I’m going to look you in the eyes and I’m gonna tell you the future. It’s an American story and that’s why Americans are gonna love it,” Damon’s character says. “People are going to build you up. God, are they going to. Because when you’re great and new, we love you…”

“But you know what? Once they’ve built you as high as they possibly can, they’re going to tear you back down. It’s the most predictable pattern…. You’re going to be attacked, betrayed, exposed, and humiliated. And you’ll survive that. A lot of people can climb that mountain. It’s the way down that breaks them. Because that’s the moment you are truly alone. And what will you do then? Can you summon the will to fight on through all the pain and rise again? That will be defining question of your life.”

In the movie, Damon plays Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro who successfully signed Michael Jordan for the Air Jordan sneaker, which became the company’s top-selling shoe. The movie was distributed by Amazon Studios.

Zuckerberg: Medical Establishment Demanded Facebook Censor Coronavirus Info that Was ‘Debatable or True’

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook (now known as Meta) has criticized the behavior of the medical and scientific establishment during the coronavirus pandemic, who, backed by western governments, demanded social media censorship of information that “ended up being more debatable or true.”

Zuckerberg, who previously laid bare the FBI’s efforts to warn social media companies about “Russian propaganda dumps” shortly before the publication of the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020, made these new comments on the Lex Fridman Podcast.

The Facebook CEO said that the medical establishment “often waffled” on COVID claims, and requested the removal of material that ended up being debatable or true.

“Just take some of the stuff around COVID earlier in the pandemic where there were real health implications, but there hadn’t been time to fully vet a bunch of the scientific assumptions, said Zuckerberg.

“Unfortunately, I think a lot of the kind of establishment on that kind of waffled on a bunch of facts and asked for a bunch of things to be censored that, in retrospect, ended up being more debatable or true. That stuff is really tough, right? It really undermines trust.”

Zuckerberg said his company is still under pressure for more censorship from various forces around the world.

“There are obviously a lot of people who think that we should be censoring more content. Or there are a lot of people who think we should be censoring less content.”

“There’s the media, there’s activist groups… there are groups all over the world, in every country, that bring different values. It’s a very active debate.”

“There are so many people and different forces that are trying to apply pressure from different sides. I don’t think you can make decisions based on trying to make people happy. You just have to do what you think is the right balance and accept that people are going to be upset no matter where you come out on that.”
