BidenGate: Most Voters Suspect FBI in Cover-Up
As House Republicans threaten contempt of Congress charges against Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray, a majority of voters suspect FBI officials tried to cover up a scandal involving President Joe Biden and his family.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 60% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is likely that top officials at the FBI have helped cover-up wrongdoing by Biden or his family members, including 48% who think it’s Very Likely. Thirty-three percent (33%) don’t believe an FBI cover-up is likely, including 16% who say it is Not At All Likely. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Jeff Hefner's (left) old business partners, John MacDonald and Rob McBride allege the pilot would often fail to carry out repairs on planes and behaved threateningly, including once by pointing a gun at MacDonald. Hefner was flying the plane carrying Adina Azarian, 49, her 2-year-old daughter (together right) and the child's live-in nanny, Evadnie Smith, when it crashed on June 4, killing everyone onboard. The allegations stand in contrast to other comments made of Hefner since his death this month - some even branded him Mr. Safety for his diligence and attention to detail. Hefner's lawyers said there had been business disagreements between the men and questioned why the allegations were only emerging after the pilot's death.
