Job questioned God. God lost the bet, and then didn't explain himself to Job. Instead, he diverted with his resume, and after realizing Job had every right to question him, restores him with more than he had before. It gets better. I mean, he does make his son into a sacrifice before Satan later on, so good luck trying to explain that one away.

Explain instead of pontificate, if you can. If it's the believer's mission to edify others, your condescension is off-putting and bares no fruit for new believers. Instead of relishing in your superiority, provide a witnesses testimony.

Satan snuck up on God, as God had no clue where he was. And then, after briefly exchanging pleasantries, the first thing God does is entice Satan to ruin Job's life to "prove a point". The book of Job, of all the books in the OT, is perhaps the most damaging one of all to God's reputation.
