blue is symbolic of the fallen watchers, who first intermarried with human women. their colors are blue and gold. for their eyes and hair.
this combination of blue and gold is the opposite of red and black; red and black being the colors associated with the offspring of the fallen angels (not the fallen watchers).
blue is the companion of gold, not the opposite.
