Biden admin, California strip funding from Christian church, preschool for opposing LGBT ideology

(LifeSiteNews) — A Christian church and preschool are suing the Biden administration and California state officials for suspending them from a food program serving impoverished students because of the church’s religious beliefs on human sexuality.

The Church of Compassion and its subsidiary Dayspring Christian Learning Center, located in El Cajon, California, maintain traditional beliefs regarding sexuality and gender, such as that there are only two “genders” (sexes). The lawsuit points out that these beliefs “were uncontroversial for more than 2,000 years and continue to be held by most major world religions.”

However, their beliefs are at odds with the Biden administration’s altered interpretation of the definition of “sex” in Title IX “to include sexual orientation and gender identity.” Following this new definition, California’s Department of Social Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued mandates that led to the suspension of the church and preschool from participation in the Child and Adult Food Care Program on December 29, 2022.

Pro-LGBT Church Destroyed After Act of God - Not Even Fact-Checkers Can Deny This One

On June 2, lightning struck First Congregational United Church in Spencer, Massachusetts, sparking a fire that destroyed the church.

Initial reports of the conflagration emphasized the hope inspired when a collapsed beam and a standing chimney combined to form the shape of a cross.

Days later, however, self-proclaimed “fact-checkers” sprang into action when a viral video showed the “woke LGBTQ+ church” engulfed in flames.

Snopes’ mendacious “fact-checkers,” whom the New York Post once called “‘Pants on Fire’ partisans,” investigated the matter.

First, Snopes reported that the “woke LGBTQ+ church” in question had indeed “publicly posted positive messages about Pride month in recent years.”

Then, Snopes conceded that a lightning strike had indeed caused the fire that destroyed the church.

Snopes declared, however, that “it’s a subjective, evidence-free conclusion to assert that the two things were linked, and that a higher power chose to burn down the church.”

Third-party presidential candidate Cornel West rips 'mediocre, milquetoast' Biden: 'Get off the crack pipe'

People's Party presidential candidate Cornel West, a progressive activist, went after President Biden Thursday, referring to him as "mediocre" and "milquetoast" in his first interview since announcing his long-shot third-party run for the White House.

Appearing on KBLA's Tavis Smiley podcast, West pushed back on the notion his candidacy was potentially "pulling votes away from Biden" and laid into the Democratic Party for its candidate choices.

"When somebody chooses to vote for you, you’re not pulling votes away. You see, Biden doesn’t own any votes. He’s got to earn it. He’s got to earn it," West said.

"If the Democrats are putting out mediocre, milquetoast, neoliberal politicians who can’t say a mumbling word about militarism, can’t say a mumbling word about a serious response to poverty, can’t say a mumbling word about serious White supremacist practices — I mean, Biden himself said America is not a racist society. I said, ‘Get off the crack pipe,’" he added.

West was referring to a 2021 speech in which Biden said he didn't think America was a racist nation, but said that slavery and former Jim Crow laws "had a cost" on the country.

West went on to blast Biden for not supporting a full-scale end to the Senate filibuster, although the president has supported a carveout of the rule in order to pass legislation on abortion and voting rights. He then blamed Democrats for creating the space that he said made his candidacy necessary.

Medical Examiner Releases Nashville School Shooter Audrey Hale’s Autopsy Report

NASHVILLE – According to an autopsy report released on Monday, the former student who carried out a mass shooting at a Christian elementary school in Nashville — resulting in the deaths of three children and three adults — died from gunshot wounds to the head, torso, and other parts of the body.

The report, issued by the medical examiner in Davidson County, stated that the manner of death for 28-year-old Audrey Hale was homicide. The autopsy revealed that Hale had sustained both gunshot wounds and blunt force trauma throughout the body.

On March 27, Hale, who identified as transgender, opened fire at the Covenant School before being fatally shot by law enforcement officers.

The release of the autopsy report coincides with an ongoing legal battle regarding the release of Hale’s manifesto, involving multiple groups.
