Then be a mean Anon and counter it back. Their narratives and pride crumble when you confront them. You can watch them start to unravel in real time. Though, two things I've learned on my own: 1) If you can't identify the narrative they're pushing within 1-5 posts, don't bother. 2) When you engage, if you can't destroy their narrative within 5-10 posts, disengage.
Being mean is not degeneracy. Countering them is righteous, though you do have to roll around in the mud with them.
