This is the second time anon has encountered this group. Local city council member is an officer for them. Anon is wondering if they support independent journalism or if, perhaps they help with "narrative control".

The city council person, whom anon has contacted and gotten an actual response from seemed okay, however recent examination of the person's twitter account showed the person self-described as "pizza enthusiast", and "public health nerd"! Those terms are now suspicious to anon.
