Just watched The Sum of All Fears. I had only previously read the summary and thought "I got it."
Yikes. It makes me tend to believe that the past 100+ years has been about building up the military superpowers to first shape the world to their liking -and then to pit us all against each other to destroy it …down to their "manageable population."
Grateful to have witnessed it all being so masterfully defused, as opposed to the last ditch moments of hopeful ignorance as portrayed in the film.
I may have enjoyed too much the ending, where the conspirators were unceremoniously dispatched.
