Blockchain Technology is the star. It provides the solution to the double-spend problem that has plagued electronic forms of money. Truly revolutionary. Other positives as well but that's the big one.

Bitcoin, Litecoin, etc. are merely the current players. Too early to tell which ones (if even invented yet) ultimately become the mainstays. That said, Bitcoin (BTC or BCH) has early-adopter name recognition that gives it a leg up in that race.

As far as "Structure" goes, my money is on the FED (and all other CBs) will go from private to public (absorbed by each countries Treasuries) as the first huge step. Need to keep the store shelves stocked so I don't buy the hype of the $ going bye-bye in an instant. Definitely need a debt jubilee (see world history) of some kind for sure.

All cryptos are simply computer programs. To answer that or any other specific crypto question my best advice is to dig into the code. Now since 99% of the public can't do that… the next best bet is to find multiple people that have (they're out there) and weigh all opinions against each other. That still sucks doesn't it? Welcome to the early stages of groundbreaking technology. The same problem we had during the explosion of the Internet Tech Boom in the 90's.
