A thought: Red Hen seems to be very "dirty on the inside" with strange connections, and they panicked when Sarah Sanders went there. Not an obvious choice of restaurant by the way, it's a long way from DC in a whole different part of Virginia. So maybe she was "busting" them, or maybe she was wearing some stuff that could detect funny business going on there.
As a restaurant goes it's tiny. I don't see where there's room for a kitchen and dining room in there – is the kitchen in the basement? Even then it would be a tiny dining room. It can't be a very profitable business at that scale.
So what was the real business there? What business was being covered by a difficult-to-audit high-markup public restaurant with servers to tip, etc.?
