"Sin" is even questionable.
For example:
Mutilate the genitals of children - nah that's fine
but if you lie, for whatever reason what-so-ever, that's sin!
So if you tell your wife that she's pretty when she looks like garbage on that day, that's a sin, although you are telling her that to make her feel better.
