TYB&N!

Anon's watching:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL3uWO-KLUE

The algorithmic trick that solves Rubik’s Cubes and breaks ciphers

It's talking about DES keys, about 11 minutes in.

It mentions that a 56 bit key (the original DES standard), to do "brute force" you'd have to evaluate 2 to the 56 keys. Which (the video says) is 10 to the17.

Looking closer/doing math anon's self, see that it's 7.205759404×10¹⁶

Anon sees another 17 in there (left side rounds to 7, right side starts with 10), although that's a bit less obvious.

Somewhat like those three Ingersoll Lockwood books?

One contains exactly 17 instances of "anon" meaning, it contains "Q" "anon"s.

The other two? One has 1, the other has 7, so again, we get a 17.
