Hiring manager here. We screen 1st by the application.

Make it legible. We throw out any we can't read, and any that are incomplete before we even look at them. The trash can is full after the first 'readability' pass.

Fill out your application completely, every block. Put n/a in blocks that don't apply, that way they know you didn't just miss the block or neglect to complete your application or forget.

Do you have a job now? its easier to get a job if you already have one. If you're not working now, find something you are doing that you can put like: 2016-present volunteered at Space Force…instead of 'unemployed'.

Be positive. Be thorough. Approach the application as if your life depended on you doing a good job on the application. You are competing against every other person who applied, and that can be upwards of 100 people. You have to outdo them in some way.

Follow up with a phone call. Stop in and shake hands. Even today when many applications are online, shaking hands makes you a face. Wherever you can, hand your application to the personnel or hiring manager yourself, so you can introduce yourself.

Stay positive.

Walmart is trying to control the milk industry in order to tank it. They sell their gallons for $1.

They've already been in the dairy industry under a parent company which bought up acreage in Arizona where they need to irrigate (expensive). But as they buy up dairy, keep their gallons at $1 until they drive small dairies out of business.

This summer was particularly bad in our dairy-centric rural county, with farmers having to sell off their herds because milk prices were manipulated into being so low. We will never get the family dairy farms back once they are forced under.

Once Walmart has eliminated most of their dairy competition, they will get out of the dairy business. Milk will no longer be available. You'll have to opt for soy, almond or that frankenmilk 'Fair Life'. These faux milk products are easier to process and they can put what they want in them.

Milk is being removed from your diets. But milk is excellent for your health. Perhaps that is why.
