Imagine being a high powered criminal. You know the game -your organization has been at it so long that you ARE the game. You own the cops, the lawyers, the judges, the politicians, entire political structures and systems -you call the shots. You're untouchable. You can do anything without limit
-so you do.
You up your desires to engage in the conquest of the actual sovereignty of Nations to take your "rightful" place as rulers, rather than just ruling by deceit. Your organization is so old,that the people who founded your organization on conquest are long dead. You were handed it all on a silver platter and became brazen in your actions and have unwittingly violated the laws protecting soveriegnty to turn loose the genie from the bottle …and you are now in a legitimate war with no idea how to fight one without controlling both sides, and your men who knew how are forever gone, and every Country in the world that you had your hands in is warring against you.
That must really suck, but I'll be glad when you lose it all -forevermore.
