Any anons picking up on "Panama Canal"?

While hosting Juan Carlos Varela (President of Panama) at the WH on 6/20:

“The Panama Canal is doing quite well,” Trump said as the cameras flashed while he was seated beside Varela. “I think we did a good job building it, right?” It was part of Trump’s opener, according to a White House release.

I laughed at this part:

“Yeah. One hundred years ago,” Varela responded. Trump added: “We did a very good job.”

The Panama Canal was completed in 1914. The MSM and Twitter said it was a gaffe. I missed the original Twitter storm, but I heard Trump mention the Panama Canal during his speech in Duluth last week. It struck me as odd. He repeated the Panama Canal again tonight in South Carolina.

Coincidence? POTUS doesn't gaffe like this. Three times. Reminds me of Fiji.
