Anon lost a very dear friend from his life five years ago. During dark moments, the lack of their presence was what made things most difficult. Oftentimes, Anon took his grievances, frustrations and general sadness with the state of affairs to this board. More often than not, Anons made an effort to better my mood despite my obvious negativity.

Today, after reaching out via telephone, being sure my call would be inconsequential, Anons lost friend actually picked up, and we talked for a good ten minutes before Anon was headed to the Gym. We made plans to talk again in the coming days. My mood is infinitely better after having confirmation that Anons friend is still alive and kicking, and having heard her voice after such a long time.

Now, anon reflects gratefully on this development and hopes that our next talks will be positive, and that maybe our paths will cross physically in the future.

I hope so. It‘s the only person I‘ve ever met that matches my level of energy. Life was kinda simpler before knowing how spending extended time with that friend feels like.
