Photo From Hunter Biden’s Laptop Corroborates Bribery Claims From Whistleblower

Matt Margolis

Photographs found on Hunter Biden’s laptop confirm that the embattled first son was at his father’s Wilmington, Del., home on the same day he threatened his Chinese business partner to fulfill his “commitment” while invoking his father’s name.

On Thursday, the House Ways and Means Committee released transcripts of a WhatsApp conversation between Hunter Biden to his Chinese business partner Henry Zhao, who is associated with CEFC Energy.

The conversation was discovered by Gary Shapley, an IRS whistleblower who came forward revealing the Biden administration inappropriately interfered with the investigation of Hunter Biden.

In the conversation, which took place on July 30, 2017, Hunter Biden claimed he was sitting next to his father and that “we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.”

I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.

Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. All too often people mistake kindness for weakness—and all too often I am standing over top of them saying I warned you. From this moment until whenever he reaches me.

I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father. I sure hope whatever it is you are doing is very very important.

Shapley may not have had conclusive evidence that Hunter and Joe Biden were together when Hunter threatened Zhao, but a photo from Hunter’s laptop proves it was very possible. The photo shows Hunter behind the wheel of his dad’s prized 1967 Corvette Stingray, which he kept in the garage of his Wilmington residence, next to boxes of classified documents he had no right to be in possession of. Hunter’s message to Zhao was sent at 9:45 a.m. July 30, 2017, and the timestamp on the picture (found in the photo’s metadata) is 6:49 p.m. on the very same day.

This revelation is the latest piece of evidence contradicting Biden’s repeated statements denying knowledge or participation in Hunter’s foreign business deals.

“That same day Hunter Biden invoked ‘me and my family’ in an email to CEFC director Gongwen Dong confirming that they had agreed to a $10 million contract for ‘introductions alone,’ with bonus payments for any successful business deals the Biden family introduces,” reports the Washington Free Beacon. “The relationship proved lucrative for the Biden family. CEFC Energy paid Hunter Biden at least $5 million in the ensuing months to scout out potential investments for the Chinese firm. The company paid Biden another $1 million to provide legal services for CEFC Energy executive Patrick Ho, who faced charges that he tried to bribe African officials for oil rights.”

FSB opens criminal case after Wagner boss calls for ‘armed rebellion’

Russia has announced an investigation into Yevgeny Prigozhin

Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of Wagner Group private military company, is under investigation for allegedly advocating a mutiny against the government, Russia’s anti-terrorism committee said on Friday.

All of Prigozhin’s claims are “entirely unfounded,” the body said in a statement, adding that the Federal Security Service (FSB) has “opened a criminal investigation on account of calling for an armed rebellion.”

“We demand the immediate end to all illegal activity,” the anti-terrorism committee stated.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry accused Prigozhin of spreading falsehoods over a video circulating on social media that claimed the Russian military had attacked a base of Wagner fighters.

“A large number of our fighters died. We will decide how we will respond to this atrocity. The next step is ours,” Prigozhin said in a statement commenting on the alleged attack. He then vowed to march on Moscow and hold those responsible to account, warning the military to stay out of his way.

The Defense Ministry described Prigozhin’s claims as “an informational provocation” and said the Russian military was fighting on the frontlines against the Ukrainian troops.

The Prosecutor-General’s Office said that “this crime is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 12 to 20 years.”

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been briefed about the situation involving Prigozhin and Wagner, and “all the necessary measures” are being taken to resolve the matter.

Russia ramps up ‘combat dolphin’ patrols off Crimea, British spies claim

The number of pens said to house trained marine mammals has nearly doubled in Sevastopol, British military intelligence has alleged

The British Ministry of Defence has released a new intelligence update on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The assessment unveiled on Friday focuses on Moscow’s efforts to secure the main base of its Black Sea Fleet, Sevastopol, and claims a sharp increase in maritime patrols by war-trained dolphins.

Satellite imagery of the Sevastopol harbor, shared by the UK military, shows several rectangular objects floating by its mouth. British military intelligence claims the objects are “mammal pens” housing combat-trained bottle-nosed dolphins.

“Imagery shows a near doubling of floating mammal pens in the harbor which highly likely contain bottle-nosed dolphins,” the assessment reads.

Moscow has been training marine animals, including “Beluga whales and seals” for an unspecified “range of missions,” the document asserted, adding that the purported dolphins “are highly likely intended to counter enemy divers.”

However, little to no official information on the purported use of dolphins by the Russian military exists. During the Soviet era, Crimea housed a military facility used to train dolphins, but it ended up in Ukraine’s possession after the collapse of the USSR and ultimately fell into disrepair. The remnants of the facility were reportedly transferred to the Russian military after the 2014 reunification of Crimea, while a few years later the country’s Defense Ministry ran a tender to procure a handful of young dolphins.

The use of marine animals for combat purposes by Russia has been a relatively popular theory for quite some time, with allegations repeatedly surfacing from Western officials and media. One of the most prominent incidents involving suspicious marine mammals occurred back in April 2019, when an unusually friendly white beluga whale was spotted off Norway.

The mammal, dubbed ‘Hvaldimir’ sported a head camera harness labeled ‘Equipment St. Petersburg,’prompting speculations that it was a “Russian spy whale.” Other reports, however, suggested that the beluga actually hailed from a marine sanctuary training whales to play with children for therapy purposes. Since then, Hvaldimir has been repeatedly spotted off Norway, having apparently settled down in a fjord near Oslo.

Putin is now the dolphin whisperer according to the UK

Ukraine’s counteroffensive is ‘suicidal’ – Moscow

Russia’s envoy to the UN has claimed that Kiev’s troops are being sent to slaughter only to retain support of Western donors

Thousands of Ukrainian troops are being sent to their deaths in a “suicidal” counteroffensive that Kiev is using to help keep Western benefactors on board with their massive aid programs, Russia’s top diplomat at the United Nations has claimed.

“Kiev is sending soldiers to be slaughtered only in order to successfully report to Western partners how Ukraine can defeat Russia,” Vasily Nebenzya, Moscow’s permanent representative to the United Nations, said on Friday in a UN Security Council meeting. He added that the=counteroffensive is so futile that it’s known as the “Zaporozhye meat grinder” in Ukrainian society.

The campaign, which began earlier this month, has already cost Ukrainian forces tens of thousands of casualties and hundreds of Western-supplied armored vehicles, according to Russia’s UN mission. Western media outlets have suggested that the appetite of Western governments to send more aid to Kiev will depend at least partly on the outcome of the long-delayed counteroffensive.

Even if Ukraine’s backers continue to supply weaponry to facilitate their proxy war against Russia,Kiev doesn’t have an endless supply of troops to send into battle, Russian President Vladimir President said on Thursday. “It seems Ukraine’s Western allies are indeed prepared to wage the war to the last Ukrainian,” he added.

Nebenzya’s top deputy at the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, warned on Friday that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s regime could stage a false-flag attack on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) to trigger a direct NATO intervention in the conflict. “The whole of Europe may be easily sacrificed by Ze and his blind Russophobic sponsors,” Polyanskiy said on Twitter. “Don’t say we didn’t warn you.”

Nebenzya called on Western governments to block Kiev from organizing such an operation.

The US joined with the UK, France and Albania on Friday in issuing a joint statementdemanding that the UN investigate Russia’s alleged use of Iranian drones in Ukraine. A 2015 resolution by the UN Security Council prohibits the transfer of such weapons from Iran.

Russian officials have repeatedly denied allegations of using Ukrainian drones. “We categorically reject it,” Nebenzya told reporters on Friday. “These are baseless allegations and blatant attempts to deliberately mislead the international community.”

(Did they intentionally use Ukrainian when it was Iranian?)

Zelensky prepares ground to delay presidential election

Kiev can’t organize a vote amid the ongoing fighting, its president has told the BBC

Ukraine will not be able to organize elections so long as martial law is in effect, President Vladimir Zelensky told the British state broadcaster in an interview on Friday. His original five-year term is set to expire in May 2024. (So are they going to drag it out to prevent elections? This is sick!)

“In accordance with the law, elections need to happen in a time of peace, when there is no fighting,” Zelensky told the BBC when asked if there would be a presidential election next year.

Ukrainian laws mandate aparliamentary election no later than October 29 this year. For that to actually happen, Kiev would need to end martial law so the 60-day campaign could begin by August 28, according to Rodion Miroshnik, former ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic in Moscow. Elections for president would need to happen by March 2024, Miroshnik told TASS.

Zelensky announced martial law on February 24, 2022, and has been extending it ever since. The most recent 90-day extension was announced on May 20 this year, and is due to expire on August 18.

While acknowledging that elections were not allowed under martial law, the president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) urged Ukraine in May to “start preparing for [a vote] as soon as possible.”

“Although democracy is far more than only elections,I think we all agree that without the elections, democracy cannot properly function,” Martinus Josephus Maria ‘Tiny’ Kox told Ukrainian activist Olga Aivazovska on May 17.

Aleksey Danilov, head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, responded by saying that “there can be no elections” so long as martial law remains in effect.

Under a law enacted in May 2022,Zelensky has banned a dozen political partiesfor allegedly challenging his official position on the conflict with Russia. The largest parliamentary opposition bloc, Opposition Platform – For Life, was outlawed last June, while the most recent ban, in February, applied to former president Viktor Yanukovich’s Party of Regions.

FDIC accidentally reveals bailout recipients – Bloomberg

The US agency gave $1 billion to the world’s top venture capital firm and $900 million to a Chinese tech firm, among others

The US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation accidentally released the identities of theSilicon Valley Bank clients it bailed outfollowing the bank’s collapse in March in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, Bloomberg News revealed on Friday.

Upon realizing their mistake, theFDIC reportedly pleadedwith Bloomberg todestroy the client list, claiming it had meant to “partially” redact some details “because [the document] included confidential commercial or financial information.” It’s not clear what this information was, as the agency has not commented beyond a letter from its attorney to the news outlet, but Bloomberg says it did not destroy or delete anything.

The SVB clients who recovered their deposits thanks to a “systemic risk exception” declared by theFDIC included Sequoia Capital, the world’s most prominent venture capital firm, with $1 billion stored with the failed bank, andBeijing-based tech firm Kanzhun Ltd, which got its $902.9 millionin deposits back.Life sciences startup Altos Labs’ $680.3 millionwere safe, as were payments startupMarqeta Inc.’s $634.5 million.

SVB’s largest depositor according to the FDIC document was crypto stablecoin company Circle Internet Financial Ltd., which had $3.3 billion in deposits there. The bank’s failure caused the value of the company’s USD Coin - supposed to be pegged hard-and-fast to the dollar - to wobble briefly, though like SVB’sother depositors the company was made whole thanks to the taxpayer.

The FDIC typically only insures customer deposits up to $250,000. When SVB, a favorite bank of the venture capital and tech industries, collapsed in March due to a bank run, the FDIC extended its deposit protection to most of the bank’s customers in a controversial move critics framed as a bailout.

Supporters of the idea argued that expanding FDIC protection beyond the standard limit was needed to prop up the thousands of small- and medium-size tech startups that called SVB home, lest their own collapse bring down the entire sector, and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen argued a soft landing for SVB’s customers was necessary to prevent total economic collapse. However, the document obtained by Bloomberg suggests therecipients of the FDIC’s largesse were never really in danger of collapsing.

White House stonewalls reporters on Biden corruption

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby walked out of a briefing when quizzed on the president’s dealings with China

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre sparred with reporters on Friday over allegations that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter took part in a scheme to pressure a Chinese businessman.

During a White House press conference,Newsmax reporter James Rosenread the entirety of a 2017 text message purportedly sent by Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao, a Chinese government official and businessman with whom the president’s son was negotiating a business deal.

“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” Hunter Biden allegedly wrote to Zhao, contradicting the president’s repeated assertion that he never had any knowledge of his son’s foreign dealings. “Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight,” Hunter continued. “And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows… that you will regret not following my direction.”

The message was handed to a Republican investigative committee by an Internal Revenue Service whistleblower last month, and its authenticity has not been challenged by the Biden administration. That person led a probe into Hunter’s tax affairs in 2020, but turned to the GOP panel to allege that the Justice Department covered up tax fraud by the president’s son.

Kirby refused to comment on the text message."I'm just not going to do it. All right? I'm not going to do it,”he replied to Rosen, before leaving the podium and ending the briefing.

Speaking after Kirby, Jean-Pierre also refused to comment, saying that her colleague had “addressed” the topic earlier.Pressed by multiple reporters, Jean-Pierre stressed that she was "not going to get into family discussion, personal family discussion(Family bribing discussion, its not personal, its just business!)

Biden’s foreign business dealings are currently being investigated by the Republican-run House Oversight Committee, while his tax affairs are being probed by the House Ways and Means Committee. In the Senate, Republican lawmakers have also applied pressure on the Bidens, alleging that they took bribes from a Ukrainian gas executive while Joe Biden was vice president.

The allegations against the Biden family surfaced before the 2020 election, when the New York Post published documents found on Hunter’s laptop. The files detail Hunter’s involvement in numerous foreign business ventures, including a highly-paid stint on the board of a Ukrainian energy firm, multimillion-dollar deals in China that hinged on introducing partners to his father, and analleged scheme to arrange funding for a Pentagon contractor to study hazardous biological agents in Ukraine.

New way to address the media, walk out of the roomTrump should try that since its precedent now.

Wagner bossdenies talking to Kiev about selling out Russian troops

An alleged meeting with Ukrainian intel agents in Africa would have been “physically impossible” for him to attend, Evgeny Prigozhin has claimed

The head of Russia's Wagner private military company, Evgeny Prigozhin, has claimed it would have been “physically impossible” for him to meet withUkrainian military intelligence agents in Africa to make a treasonous proposal to them. The alleged contacts were reported by the Washington Post based on purported leaks from the Pentagon.

The outlet claimed on Sunday that classified US documents, which made their way to the public through a Discord server, claimthere had been communication between Prigozhin and Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR).

The Wagner head allegedly sought to have Ukrainian troops withdraw from the area around the bitterly contested city of Artyomovsk (known in Ukraine as Bakhmut) in order to ease the pressure on his own troops for a while,in exchange for information on Russian troop positions elsewhere. The alleged contacts were said to take place by phone and an in-person meeting in Africa, where the Wagner Group is also active.

Prigozhin dismissed the report as “speculation dumped by the Washington Post” and insisted he had not been to Africa since months before the hostilities in Ukraine broke out in February 2022. He suggested that the newspaper was overstating the supposed intel or had fallen victim to planted disinformation.

The Post said two Ukrainian officials confirmed the contacts between Prigozhin and the GUR, but when the newspaper asked Ukrainian President VladimirZelensky about them, he appeared to be angered and demanded to know who the sourcesin his government were.

Who is talking about the activities of our intelligence? Because this is the most severe felony in our country,” he said, before accusing the newspaper of trying to help Russia. The Post later redacted this portion of the interview on its website.

In a statement, Prigozhin alluded to the apparent act of self-censorship, calling into question the Post’s reliability.

One of three things:

  1. Ukraine bought Wagner big time, but why would Wagner complete the mission? And why wouldn’t Ukraine withdraw the troops?

  2. Russia and Wagner leader set this up to punk Ukraine, so Ukraine troops try to go further in territory and get decimated. Wagner still working for Russia.

  3. Its both scenarios combined and big FF. I find it hard to believe the FSB wasn’t tracking Wagner group since they left and Ukraine leaked out the leader was going to betray them by allowing Ukraine to kill Russian troops.

This might be a major FF by Russia to get Ukraine back in the fight to finish this war

Ukraine attempts to retake Artyomovsk after Prigozhin ‘provocation’ – MOD

Kiev is concentrating troops for an offensive, the Russian ministry claims

Kiev is concentrating troops in an attempt to retake the key Donbass city of Artyomovsk, known as Bakhmut in Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced.

According to the ministry,Ukrainian units are “taking advantage of [Wagner chief Evgeny] Prigozhin’s provocation aimed at disorganizing the situation.”

“Servicemen from the Southern group are suppressing the enemy with artillery and aviation strikes,” the statement added.

On Friday, the ministry rejected the claim made by PMC Wagner head Yevgeny Prigozhin about a rocket strike on one of the company’s bases from Russian territory. “All messages and video distributed on social networks on behalf of [Yevgeny] Prigozhin about the alleged strike by the [Russian military] on the camps of PMC Wagner in the rear areas do not correspond to reality and are an informational provocation,” the ministry said in a statement.

Following Prigozhin’s statement, the Federal Security Service (FSB) opened a criminal investigation into his calling for an armed rebellion.

On May 20, Prigozhin announced that the operation to take control of Artyomovsk, which had been spearheaded by Wagner, had ended and that the city had been “fully captured.” The battle for the major logistics hub had been fought for 224 days, he added.

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed later the same day that the city had been taken, with President Vladimir Putin congratulating Wagner servicemen and regular Russian military troops on their success.

Top Russian general sends message to ’mutinous’ Wagner PMC

Sergey Surovikin has called on its fighters to stand down

Deputy commander of the Russian Joint Forces, General Sergey Surovikin, asked on Friday the fighters of the private military company Wagner Group to stop their “rebellion” against Moscow.

In a short video message released on social media, Surovikin said he had just returned from the front, where Russian forces were standing their ground against the Ukrainian offensive.

I appeal to the fighters and commanders of the PMC Wagner,” Surovikin said, still wearing his fatigues. “We have walked a difficult road together. We fought together, took risks together, suffered losses together, and won together. We are of the same blood. We are warriors. I urge you to stop. The enemy is just waiting for the internal political situation to worsen. We should not play into the enemy’s hands in these difficult times for our country.”

He urged Wagner troops to submit to the lawfully elected authorities “before it is too late,” return to their barracks and address their grievances peacefully.

Earlier on Friday, Wagner head Yevgeny Prigozhin accused the Russian military of targeting one of the company’s field camps in a rocket attack and killing “many fighters,”vowing to march on Moscow and deal with those responsible and warning the military to stay out of his way.

The Russian Defense Ministry saidPrigozhin’s accusations “did not correspond to the truth”and were an “information provocation.”According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been briefed about the situation involving Prigozhin and Wagner, and all the necessary measures are being taken.

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Friday that it had opened an investigation into Prigozhin for allegedly “calling for an armed rebellion.” The crime is punishable by 12-20 years in prison.

Surovikin, an air force general, was put in charge of the operation in Ukraine in October 2022, overseeing a major redeployment in the Kherson Region. In January this year, he became a deputy to General Valery Gerasimov, head of the Russian General Staff and current commander of the operation.
