Good evening.

Looks like notes are behind. They were behind last night as well. Posted a message encouraging anons to step up - bake and note.

The one who just e-baked is a BV who often bakes 2-3 breads a day. He is not the only one. When nobody else bakes, they do. But that makes the board lean too hard on those who have other tasks to do. (When i learned to bake, ZERO admins baked - it was all anons.)

 

If anons want to keep up the board, need to step up. If you want to learn, ask at Meta - can answer q's about notetaking too.

Have been talking about doing a BAKING CLASS, as was done in 2020, to walk anons thru the process step by step. Good for those who have baked in the past who want to update their skills.

Only works when brand new bakers get so nervous (KEK) that you work off an entire pizza in just ONE bake!

When you're new, bakers or anons may give ya a hard time. Don't be discouraged, try again. Best way if you're new is this:

 

if you are new and want to PRACTICE, best to do so on /qrn or /comms - then ask for feedback on META on in current bread, so you know what to do. Same goes for new bakers - PRACTICE bake in the side boards, then ask for feedback. That is how it was done before: old bakers and note collectors teaching new ones the ropes.

Would be very glad to have another baker in the kitchen.

Proto was one of the last ditch measures put into play last fall when the place was overrun by spammers. Very different from what anons are used to but good for emergency situations. Better than having the board shut down for days?

Trainme is controversial for several reasons. But he's also a decent baker and was willing to compromise when asked not to post reaction images while baking. Try to be fair but understand the problem.
