The "Russian civil war" move is brilliant.

…it is the ultimate flex on the western media and western forces - "we're in such control, that we can play with ourselves and go have a civil war and still hold our positions"

… it immediately confounds NATO and prevents them from starting WWIII - who will they fight, if the other side is in civil war? will they enter on one side? will they enter to protect Putin?
