Prevailing Winds from Zaporhihzia Nuke Power Plant

Most of the time the prevailing winds from Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant are headed eastward - towards Georgia and Khazakstan, and many times turn north and head to Moscow.

WHY would Russia attack the Zapo nuke power plant. Makes no sense to me.
