We have to stop babying humanity, with the Internet and today's graphical media, even children with cell phones have seen much of the gore if not all of it. The FBI couldn't release the JFK files for the same reasons you state yet they showed the gore of the man's head being shot off, over and over again on TV; for decades upon decades. Time to end delays.
