Onto another point, Yankee transplants are a real problem in Virginia. They take their Yankee expectations, move down here and expect us to give a fuck about their Yankee values (Wilkinson in lexva is a prime example).
We do have some bible belt era bullshit holdovers in our laws, but that's because our state is old as fuck. Virginia history is basically American history but better.
