The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has put a halt on all flights at airports in Washington, D.C. due to a fire at the communication tower. This means that no planes are allowed to take off or land at these airports until further notice. The FAA and airport officials are working on a backup system
Here are a list of all the airport that are currently grounded by the FAA Due to a reported fire at the control tower
Reagan National Airport

🚨#UPDATE: Officials have reported that a Terminal Radar Approach Control Facility or a (TRACON) in the DC area caught fire, leading to the grounding of most departures from various airports in the region by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). However, the FAA has lifted the ground stops. As a result, flights are now able to depart from the airports again.
