KER. You posited a question and you answered it. Good job. It's ethanol and the big one: High Fructose Corn Syrup. It's in most every every food in the supermarket which is sweetened and many which has never used sugar. Like sausage for instance. Dairy Queen has over 80% High Fructose Corn Syrup in it's icemilk I do believe.
