could be they co-opted Jesus, that's what I'd like to think, if I'm wrong about that and other things, I hope that I'm forgiven, but like you say, there are a lot of inconsistencies, and honestly, life in and of itself doesn't really make sense
pretty sure we're all the same person, that the only thing that actually exists is consciousness and that's the reason Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself because it literally is yourself
