Putin addresses Wagner ‘betrayal’

Any attempts at fomenting turmoil among Russians are doomed, the president said

Russian President Vladimir Putin credited the patriotic spirit of the nation for avoiding bloodshed over the weekend and again condemned the “treasonous” mutiny by the private military company Wagner, in a speech on Monday evening.

Putin thanked President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus for his “contribution to the peaceful resolution of the situation.” He also confirmed the deal struck on Saturday that Wagner members who wish to do so can leave for Belarus, can go home, or can re-enlist with the Russian military.

“The promise I made will be fulfilled,” Putin said. “The choice is yours, but I am sure it will be the choice of Russian soldiers who have realized their tragic mistake.”

The president thanked the people of Russia for their “endurance, unity and patriotism” and for showing “firm, unambiguous support for the constitutional order.” Attempts to foment internal unrest in Russia are “doomed to failure,” Putin added.

The mutiny would have been put down in any case, Putin noted, accusing its organizersof betraying not just the country, but their own men, leading them astray into criminal fratricide. (He never names the organizers and doesn’t name Prigozhin, so that means the people who told him that Russia was going to disband Wagner were caught)

“They [the West and Ukraine] wanted Russian soldiers to kill each other, so that soldiers and civilians would die, so that in the end Russia would lose, and our society would break apart and choke on bloody civil strife,” the president said. “They rubbed their hands, dreaming of getting revenge for their failures at the front and during the so-called counteroffensive, but they miscalculated.”

Putin thanked all of the soldiers, police and special services who remained true to their oath, and noted the “courage and self-sacrifice of the heroic fallen pilots” who saved Russia from tragedy.

According to multiple reports, anywhere from two to 20 airmen died after Wagner allegedly shot down a military helicopter and an airplane. TheRussian Defense Ministry has not, however, published an official death toll. (And they won’t, there is no death toll, there’s no evidence anything happened! Keeping the FF alive!)

According to the president, the “overwhelming majority” of Wagner fighters and commanders are also Russian patriots, who “proved it with their courage on the battlefield, liberating Donbass and Novorossiya.” He said he personally ordered measures intended to avoid bloodshed and to allow those who made a mistake time to rethink their actions. He thanked those Wagner members who “made the right decision, who stopped before crossing the line into fratricidal bloodshed.”

On Saturday, as Wagner troops occupied Rostov-on-Don, Putin accused the private military company’s leadership of delivering a “stab in the back” comparable to that of 1917, and of giving aid and comfort to the enemy. (Bankers were responsible for 1917, so would those bankers be the CIA, DOD and Pentagon?)

confirmation of what we believe. What really happened with Prigozhin

Yevgeny Prigozhin – Anthony Blinken Spins a Tale of Woe for Vladimir Putin

June 25, 2023 | Sundance

Well, I have not written about the events with Wagner in Russia, in part because coincidentallyI have a good source in St Petersburg who told me several days agoto look out for something with Wagner and Putin. Wagner’s leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was born in St Pete (Leningrad).

Born in 1961, Prigozhin grew up as a somewhat snarky Soviet Robin Hood, a street urchin who flowed invisibly between Finland and Leningrad in a black-market social circle that, well, let’s just say I am familiar with.

When he was 20, Prigozhin was arrested for a heist and federally imprisoned for 9 years while the Soviet Union collapsed. When he exited prison Russia was different, and with St Pete now becoming a tourist destination, he joined the capitalist opportunity with a street food vending business.

Prigozhin is hard as nails, snarky as hell and very tricky.

He is one of theapex gremlinsand very much still connected to the streets, very connected. He was never connected to the towers of Russian politics as the West portrays. Prigozhin doesn’t have the pedigree nor the disposition for political power.

Let me put it this way, no one knows how to play gremlin mind games against the West better than Yevgeny Prigozhin. He’s a little bit like a less refined Oleg Deripaska, and much scruffier. Also remember, in February 2018, Prigozhin was one of 13 Russians indicted by Andrew Weissmann and Rod Rosenstein for interfering in the American election through the Internet Research Agency, lol {insert eyeroll}.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Don’t share this; it’s for CTH audience only. Back in April of this year, a blogger in St Pete namedVladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) was killed by a bombdisguised as a gift for his work reporting on behalf of free people in Russia. The bomb was inside a bust of Tatarsky given to him shortly before he was giving a speech in a cafe. A 26-year-old woman named Darya Trepova gave him the gift; she was arrested and disappeared.

Speculation, strong speculation, was that thecafe bomb was a CIA operation, because Tatarsky was considered an enemy of Ukraine. His death was a hit to the pro-Russia morale inside the region. The target, =Vladlen Tatarsky, and the head of the Wagner mercenary military units, Yevgeny Prigozhin, were good friends.==

Prigozhin wanted to go avenge Tatarsky’s death and remove any limits on rules of war/engagement in Ukraine. Prigozhin was willing to create massive civilian casualties in his revenge operation against the Ukraine military (lots of Nazi’s) and the CIA operatives that work with them.

Russian President VladimirPutin said noand told/warned his generals and Russian regular military officers they were to inform Wagner that widespread collateral damage and revenge was not okay. Prigozhin was angry, very angry about this; he wanted blood. However, Prigozhin is also a snarky gremlin, don’t forget this, soany operation that could injure or trick the CIA would be a good thing. Thus, came the warning to me to ignore the front face of what the Western world would present in the past few days.

Prigozhin was/is angry and frustrated with Vladimir Putin, and Prigozhin was/is angry at the CIA.

Was the Prigozhin/Wagner operation an internal false flag intended to give the illusion of something (rebellion) while actually taking advantage of the stupidity of the West (CIA)?

I just gave you Prigozhin’s motive that almost no one knows about. Let’s keep it between us.

Here’s a picture of the horrible and dangerous Wagner boys executing their Saturday reign of terror inside Russia during the “coup” lol.

Looks like the street urchin from Leningrad cashed out thanks to the DoD/CIA, and then bailed out on Vladimir Putin. A win/win.

I hear Belarus is awesome this time of year… and even Vladimir Putin has got to admit it was all well-played.

Well done, Yevgeny…. well done. Enjoy your retirement.

Meanwhile, back in the Western propaganda news networks.

Now this quote makes me wonder how Sundance is aware of the black market social circles in Finland and Leningrad???

Oh yes, I believe them they were not involved, the US wouldn’t do anything so dastardly to destroy Russia. And of course Russia would turn over a War Hero to the US.

Russia intercepts UK spy plane (VIDEO)

Two Su-27 fighters chased off a RAF surveillance flight over the Black Sea

Two British fighter jets and a RC-135 spy plane approached the Russian borderon Monday somewhere over the Black Sea, butturned around when approached by two Su-27 interceptors, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.

Russian air defenses “registered three targets”approaching the country’s airspace and dispatched a pair of fighter jets that were on duty to identify them and prevent any territorial violations, the ministry said in a statement.

“The crews of Russian fighters identified the air targets as an RC-135 surveillance, intelligence andelectronic warfare aircraftandtwo RAF Typhoon multirole fighters,”according to the ministry. “When Russian fighters approached, the foreign military aircraft made a U-turn and headed away from the border.”

Both Russian fighters returned to base safely, andviolations of the Russian border were “not allowed.” The intercept flight was carried out “in strict accordance with international rules,”over neutral waters and without a dangerous approach to foreign aircraft, the ministry noted.

Monday’s incident is themost serious confrontationbetween theRussian military and a NATO surveillance flightover the Black Sea since March, when an American MQ-9 drone went down southwest of Sevastopol. The US claimed one Russian Su-27 interceptor clipped the drone’s tail and caused it to crash in international waters. Moscow, however, said neither fighter had been damaged. Video released by Washington showed the Russian planes spraying jet fuel onto the intruding UAV before it lost contact with its operators.

The US paused drone flights over the Black Sea in the aftermath, but resumed them shortly thereafter. Russia has noted that Ukrainian drone and missile attacks often coincide with NATO surveillance flights.

Two years ago this week, the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Defender sailed into Russian territorial waters off Crimea, but turned away when it was fired upon by the Russian coast guard. The UK has been one of the most vocal champions of Ukraine in the current conflict, with then-PM Boris Johnson playing a key rolein scuttling the March 2022 peace talks, according to Ukrainian media.

Denmark begins training Ukrainian pilots for F-16s

Copenhagen will also discuss donating some of its fleet of the fighter jets to Kiev

Denmark’s acting defense minister Troels Lund Poulsen said on Monday that theNATO country had begun training Ukrainian pilots to operate F-16 fighter jets, and that discussions are taking place in Copenhagen about donating some of its fleet of military aircraft to Kiev. (It takes 6-12 months to be somewhat competent and 2 years to be experienced. Plus Ukraine will just crash them so Denmark can get a write off)

Lund Poulsen, who has served as the Scandinavian country’s temporary defense minister since February, said Denmark “has taken the step of starting a training and further education effort for the Ukrainian pilots,”according to Danish broadcaster DR.

“We will also consider whether we shouldmake a concrete donationto Ukraine of the Danish F-16 fighters, and how many there should be,” he added.

The Danish government official also stated that the complete phasing out of its fleet of 30 active F-16s, which was initially planned for 2027, had been brought forward to 2025. They will bereplaced by 27 state-of-the-art F-35 jets. This switch will begin in late 2023.

Ukrainian pilots will require a minimum of six to eight months of training, Lund Poulsen told DR, but “this does not mean that you cannot make a decision beforehand. But [the F-16 fighter jets] will be in Denmark until 2024.”

Kiev has petitioned Western nations to supply fighter jets to support the country in its conflict with Moscow. Despite initially being reluctant to do so, the United States and other members of the NATO bloc have now allowed Ukrainian pilots to be trained how to operate F-16 aircraft. However, none have yet committed to supplying Kiev with the fighter jets.

Any donation of F-16s from Denmark to Ukraine must also come with weaponry, according to Major Karsten Marrup of the Royal Danish Defense College.“A weapon donation must be included. Missiles, bombs and the likemust be included in the donation, so that you have everything you need to be able to use the planes,” he told DR.

The training and potential supply to Ukraine of F-16 fighters follows an extended internal debate in Washington over the potential risks of Ukraine using the jets to attack targets on Russian territory, potentially escalating the conflict.

The F-16, which is more than 40 years old, remains the most common fixed-wing aircraft in global military service today. The American-made fighter jet serves, or has served, in the militaries of at least 25 countries. The United States retains control of re-exportation rights of any country that has F-16s in its military fleet.

Gruesome footage shows Ukrainian soldiers trapped on minefield

A Ukrainian drone filmed Kiev’s soldiers amid a botched attack during the ongoing counteroffensive effort against Russia

A dramatic drone video has emerged online, showing =Ukrainian troops trapped in a minefield== amid a counteroffensive push in Russia’s Zaporozhye Region. The dramatic footage was published on Monday by Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov, widely believed to be associated with former President Pyotr Poroshenko, but vanished from his online outlet Censor.net and social media for a short while.

Theextremely gruesome video purportedly shows a botched attack by the 47th mechanized infantry brigade, an elite Ukrainian unit created last year amid the ongoing conflict with Russia. The unit is apparently well equipped with Western-supplied hardware and equipment, with multiple US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) seen in the drone video.

Footage released by Butusov shows a presumably disabled and abandoned tank with minesweeper equipment attached, as well as several Bradley vehicles. The IFVs are deploying smoke grenades in an apparent effort to provide cover for multiple injured soldiers. The fighters had seemingly disembarked at a heavily mined location, with multiple soldiers losing limbs and receiving other heavy injuries.

The IFVs are seen maneuvering on the field in an effort to pick up the wounded. One of the soldiers can be seen carefully choosing a spot to disembark as he tries to reach a comrade. The fighter ultimately picks a crater to jump into, which turns out to contain an anti-personnel mine. The resulting explosion blows off one of his legs above the knee, as the video shows.

Warning: The video is extremely gruesome.

Ukraine launched its long-heralded counteroffensive in early June, repeatedly attacking Russian positions at different points across the frontlines, with the most intense fighting observed in Donetsk People’s Republic and in Zaporozhye Region, which was officially incorporated into Russia last fall.

Thus far, the effort has failed to produce any tangible results, with thousands of servicemen and hundreds of Western-supplied pieces of military hardware lost by Kiev.
