All holy books exist to give uninitiated people a simple set of directions for behaviour so that they don't inadvertently fuck everything up. They couldn't possibly be written by God, simply for the fact that language itself is an artificial human creation, and even the most devout of the initiated can't possibly know the full truth as they are incomplete and imperfect beings themselves. There is no absolute truth to be found anywhere on Earth, only fragments which eventually lead to the closest anyone can get to truth: The necessity of faith.
I would be interested in your assessment, if you would care to share it.
>over generalization is the crutch of a weak mind.
Unfortunately the problem we're running up against right now is over complication. Too many people imagining themselves clever enough to escape the most fundamental truth in an attempt to avoid culpability for their choices.
Truth never dies. Only lies die.
