Study Finds Excess/ Unexpected Deaths Jumped 85% over Three Years
Americans should have an advantage over other countries in terms of life span and death rates due to its economic position and cutting edge medical technology. But life expectancy has decreased in the US while it has increased in other countries. In 2019, there were 483,000 excess deaths in the US that were higher than normal, but in 2021, the number rose to 892,000, an 85% increase that amounts to 1 in 4 deaths being in excess. The term ‘excess deaths’ refers to the actual number of deaths that occur in a given year compared with expected deaths over that same time period based on prior years or, as in this study, the US was compared to other countries that include England and Wales, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. UCLA professor of sociology, Patrick Heuveline, proposed that the rise in death rates is attributable to obesity that can lead to cardiovascular disease, intentional injuries in the form of homicides, and drug overdoses. It is curious to note that he failed to mention COVID vaccines as a potential cause of excess deaths.
GMO/pesticide-contaminated and chemically tainted food could be a potential cause for the pre-COVID death spike. The FDA allows additives to be used in American foods until they are proven harmful while the European Food Safety Authority will only allow additives in food if they are proven to be non-harmful.
