Replay Lincoln Park's owner Mark Kwiatkowski told MailOnline that the response to the post had been 'uglier than I had ever expected'.

'The entire thing was done with a tongue in cheek approach,' he said, adding that he had hoped the rule would 'maybe provoke some discussion and get our younger fans motivated to get engaged in political discourse.'
