Anons,

The Book of Q Proofs I've been working on is pretty much done. However, from the very beginning, I've had some problems when converting the DOCX to PDF. I tried many different programs and ways of doing it, but I had the same problem on all. I got Adobe Acrobat and that has worked the best, now that I've gotten the settings worked out correctly, but no matter what the problem is still there. The problem is that most images are blurry, even though they're sized 100% correctly and there's nothing wrong with the images themselves. When I view the PDF version in Acrobat, it looks exactly as it should, but in any other program the same PDF has the images become blurry, in some spots only (seems to be random - in some images, half may be blurry and the other half may be sharp). The book is very image-heavy so it'll be a problem. I'll probably release both the PDF and a view-only DOCX version. Do any anons know anything about creating PDFs that can weigh in on this? Like I said I got all the settings dialed in correctly (compression, DPI, etc.) and it looks perfect in Acrobat. Images attached.

Thanks anons
