I find the most success by going into it “blind”,and asking them, why do you think that? Then listening.
Often they will come to the correct conclusion themselves, or at the very least, walk away with more of an open mind which is important.

Can’t be because of the drought, as these things are planned long ago. I’m not sure why they switched to lasers but people aren’t happy. Cost maybe.
